The glass shrinks as it is melted in a kiln and multiple firings are required to create a cohesive image. In this piece I blended spring green to light teal down from the top, and pale blue to dark purple up from the bottom. Between the two I inverted the scale to create the 'pulse'. The glass is framed by a bezel using copperfoil, 18 gauge wire and lead-free solder, and hung from a small steel chain. This piece looks beautiful hanging in a window where it will catch the light and send color across the room, or as a wall hanging.
