| bouji& nouna provides unique and modern baby collection since 2007. All our products are handmade and limited in quantities. As bouji&nouna's products follow the "one of a kind" motto, it is important to use unique fabrics which in some cases purchased from different resources. We even still use the 50 years old "vintage" fabrics to meet the "retro" style. In addition, some of the fabrics we use for our products had different use in their "previous cycle". For example, a sheet or thin blanket could be used for pillow or doll to comply with non-disposal policy of our company. Thus, every fabric will always be used.
The design of bouji&nouna's line is creative and eye-catching. It always changes following the type of fabrics we have in hand. Thus, using different types of fabrics for different products assure high level of creativity and uniqueness.
bouji&nouna was established by Inbar Lahav Elgarisi who's left a successful carrier in the telecommunication industry in order to pursue what she always dreamed of – to create her own line of designed products.
The turning point was put in place when her second child, Naomi, was born. Inbar endlessly searched for what she perceived, pleasantly designed and colored bedding décore and sheets. Inbar found the selected bedding sheets too boring and envisioned "livelier" collection to be more suitable for little Naomi.
Inspired by her mom's love for fabrics and colors …and small fabrics collection she found at her mom's storage, Lahav Elgarisi launched her new collection fairly quickly. Soon Naomi's baby room became Inbar's "design arena" whereas more and more hand-made products became part of Naomi's world.
bouji&nouna's aim is to design a product that will go step by step with the newborn and will become integral part of his/her life. |
