| My name is Jessica and I make home decor items and furniture at affordable prices that are not only functional but artistic as well. I started making these items for my own home at first but decided to branch out and make pieces to sell to others.
At first, I had been an engineer for 4 years when I decided that I wanted to dable into something else that I would enjoy. I went into home construction where I gained knowledge in building and using tools. After general contracting homes, I decided to stay home to take care of my second child. Since then I have been designing unique pieces using my engineering and construction knowledge as well as my love of art.
I have also participated in art fairs for 2 years and have won two monetary awards and two purchase awards for my work. I enjoy working with many materials such as glass, ceramic, wood, metal, concrete, grass and other natural materials. I try not to abide by any rules of design but design to what inspires me at the time. I do a lot of custom work for clients and sell my work on Etsy.com. I also have my own website at www.jesseleecreations.com where more information is given about me and my work. My projects range from draperies to armoires. I am exited about starting to do lighting design after having done a custom order and really enjoying it. |
