| I have been sewing for many years, actually since age 10. My mom taught me, had home ec classes in high school and continued to improve sewing skills by teaching myself, lots of experiments and books.
While working for Creative Publications, a supplemental textbook publisher, I sewed the covers for a new series of phonics books.
A life time dream was achieved by moving to the East Coast and attending Parsons School of Design where I majored in fashion design. While in the area, I was the costume designers for Rachel Rubin's off Broadway plays.
While I have sewn everything from t-shirts to wedding and bridesmaid dresses, my true love is home decor. Within the realm of decor, I prefer to make tablrunners, pillows and placemats. AnnieKDesigns focuses on those items, especially the holidays.
